Telehealth

HIPAA-compliant video in the browser for you and your client, with a pre-call check, a waiting room, and nothing to install. Couples and families join one room from separate devices.

Built into the appointment

  • Pre-call check: camera, mic, background blur
  • Waiting room; admit when you are ready
  • Join link in every reminder and the portal
  • One room for couples, families, and groups
  • Notes drafted from the session, with consent

Sessions that start on time

Launched from the calendar

Schedule the appointment at your video location and a Video Session button appears on it. Your client joins from the link in their reminder email or from Join Session on their portal appointment. No separate login, no download.

Pre-call check and waiting room

You land on a pre-call check first: camera preview, mic level, device pickers, and an optional background blur. Clients wait until you admit them.

Couples, families, and groups in one room

Each member joins from their own portal and their own device, or the household shares one. Admit everyone at once, see the call as a labeled grid, and in therapy groups members see each other by first name only.

Notes from the session

Switch on Start Notes and, with the client’s consent, the session is recorded and a progress note is drafted in your template when the call ends. Couples and family notes file on the shared chart.

Your own platform if you prefer

Add an external platform or a phone location and schedule sessions there. They keep their reminders, billing, and notes here; the call simply happens where you already hold it.

Common questions

Does my client need to install anything?

No. Sessions run in the browser on a computer, tablet, or phone. The client opens the link from their reminder email or their portal appointment.

How do I bill a telehealth session to insurance?

When you file the claim you confirm the place of service, Telehealth (patient home) or Telehealth (not patient home), and the service line carries up to four modifiers from the appointment’s billing details.

Can I record a telehealth session for my notes?

Yes, with the client’s consent. The Start Notes toggle in the video room records the session and drafts the note in your template when the call ends. Consent is yours to obtain; the app asks and never blocks.

Is it HIPAA compliant?

Yes. Video is covered by the Business Associate Agreement that takes effect when you create your account, and everything is encrypted in transit and at rest.
